Project
Familjekalender
A family calendar built around photographs rather than appointments. Add the year's birthdays, holidays and milestones, give each one a picture, and get a month view you can put on a tablet in the hallway or print as an A4 wall calendar.

Backstory
This one is not for a customer. A paper family calendar hangs in a lot of Swedish kitchens, and the good part was never the scheduling — it was the photographs, one per month, that made you stop and look.
So the app is built the way the paper one works: the picture is the point and the date is the caption. It ends up as either a tablet on the wall that cycles the month, or a PDF you print in A4 and hang next to the door.
It is the one thing here with no client and no deadline, which makes it where an idea gets tried first — and where the family notices immediately if it is annoying to use.
