Privacy policy
What this site does and does not do with your data. In short: it stores nothing on your device beyond a theme preference you chose, there is no tracking of any kind, and the only personal data I receive is what you type into the contact form.
Last updated: 2026-10-03
The short version
- No cookies. None at all — not even "strictly necessary" ones, so there is no cookie banner and none is needed.
- No analytics, no advertising tags, no tracking pixels, no session recording.
- Nothing on a page is loaded from anyone else. The typefaces are served from this site, so no third party learns that you visited it.
- The only thing stored on your device is your light/dark theme choice, and only if you click the toggle.
- The only personal data I receive is the name, email address and message you send through the contact form.
Who is responsible
clearminds ("I", "me") is the controller for the personal data described here. Address: Luntmakargatan 26, 111 37 Stockholm, Sweden. Email:hej@clearminds.se. This policy covers the clearminds.se website only — the products I build and host are covered by their own agreements.
What is stored on your device
One thing, and only if you ask for it: when you use the light/dark theme toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the keyclearminds.theme, so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It never leaves your browser, it is not readable by me, and clearing your site data removes it. If you never touch the toggle, nothing at all is written.
There are no cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no advertising identifiers. Until October 2026 this site ran a self-hosted PostHog analytics install and, briefly, a Google Ads conversion tag behind a cookie banner. Both are gone, and the banner with them — there is no longer any question to ask you.
The contact form
When you submit the form, three things you typed are sent to my server: yourname, your email address and yourmessage. Two further details are attached automatically: the page you submitted from, and the two-letter country code my hosting provider derives from your IP address. Those help me tell a genuine enquiry from automated spam.
That submission is emailed straight to my support inbox, where it becomes a support ticket so it does not get lost. Nothing is written to a database on the website itself. I use it for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me, and — when your message is about hiring me — taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
The form also contains a hidden field that real visitors never see. If it arrives filled in, the submission is treated as automated and discarded.
Who else can see it
I do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and I do not share it for anyone else's marketing. A small number of providers process it on my behalf in order to run the site:
- Cloudflare — serves this website and runs the code that handles the form. It processes your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site.
- Resend — delivers the contact-form email to my inbox.
Some of these providers operate globally and may process data outside the EU/EEA. Beyond them, I disclose personal data only where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as they are useful for the conversation they started and any work that follows from it, and no longer than I need them. Ask me to delete yours and I will — see below.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the form submission is encrypted in transit. Once your message is in my inbox it is protected by the ordinary access controls on that system. No system is perfectly secure, and anything you send by email — including through this form — is best treated as a normal email rather than a confidential channel.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me for any of the following, free of charge:
- Access — ask what I hold about you and get a copy
- Rectification — have inaccurate details corrected
- Erasure — have your message and address deleted
- Restriction — ask me to stop using it while something is resolved
- Portability — receive it in a machine-readable form
- Objection — object to my processing it at all
Email hej@clearminds.se and I will deal with it. If you are not happy with how I handle it, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Children
This is a business site and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and if I learn that I have, I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts doing something new with your data, this page is updated before it does — and the date at the top changes with it.
